Aristotle, a Greek philosopher and polymath, was born in 384 BCE in Stagira, a small town in northern Greece. He studied under Plato in Athens and later became the tutor of Alexander the Great. Aristotle founded his own school, the Lyceum, where he conducted extensive research in various fields including logic, metaphysics, ethics, politics, biology, and physics. His works laid the foundation for much of Western philosophy and science. Aristotle's method of systematic observation and analysis influenced countless scholars and continues to be a cornerstone of intellectual inquiry today.
